zodiac broadcasting station beta

Zodiac Broadcasting Station BETA

The whole nation of Malawi seems to be tuned in to the new radio

station, Zodiak. They, the radio station guys, are playing some

beautiful classics that every Malawian has been missing ever since

private radio stations started targeting the young "Hip-Hop loving"

generation. Every now and then I keep hearing "You are listening to

Zodiak Broadcasting Station. We are currently testing our equipment

... Meanwhile, enjoy the music" from peoples radios. They have really

got every radio listener's attention.

On the global scene, in the technology industry to be specific,

everyone is talking about Google. Almost every other week, Google has

been releasing new tools, services and recently partnerships that make

headlines. They must be enjoying their honeymoon, as Bill Gates called

it.

But apart from capturing peoples' hearts, Google and Zodiak radio

station have another thing in common; their services are in BETA

version. A BETA version is one where after testing a product

internally within the developer's organisation, you release it to the

public for further testing before releasing the full product. This is

usually for short period but Google's beta versions remain in BETA for

a very long time.

I don't know how long their BETA versions and honeymoons will last; I

just wish Zodiak Broadcasting Station and Google Corporation a happy
